The Perfect Score

I am a fan of book turned into movie and vice versa. I guess I like it because I like to see the difference from the written material to the visual material. But actually, the book and the movie are the same, only that the book is more detailed but nonetheless, I could have just watched the movie at HBO instead of spending 200 php on the book. Anyways, what caught my eye was the book was published by MTV, so you know how it goes. After reading the book, I wanted to watch the movie itself, thinking it will be more exciting or whatsoever. So thanks to HBO, I got my wish. But after watching it personally, I felt this movie was a bit unfulfilling. I liked the way they ended it but during the beginning and the climax of it I felt really disappointed. Maybe it was because I got the impression that I was cheated since I read the book, but thinking right now, it was because of how the movie just fell flat. The comedy in it wasn't exactly a laugh-out-loud emoticon, maybe just a smile. The actors weren't as good as I expected them to be, although they fit my imagination when I visualized them, most of them were just boring. It was too bad for the plot was interesting and they had a nice soundtrack and MTV produced it! But I guess, it will only be a great book than a blockbuster film. Boo hoo.
